The CW has already tried its hand at bringing Joel Schumacher’s The Lost Boys to the small screen, going so far as to film an entire pilot episode that was summarily scrapped. Now they’ve green-lit a second attempt, with an entirely new cast.
The original pilot episode was directed by Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight). Marcos Siega (Dexter) will take over directorial duties this time around, working from a re-written script.
In the 1987 movie, two brothers move to a new town only to discover it’s infested with vampires. Jason Patric and Cory Haim starred.
