Cujo will have a Cameo in The Dark Tower

Posted on: May 25th, 2017

Some clever folk with a keen eye noticed a few It and The Shining easter eggs in the recent trailer for The Dark Tower, but Stephen King himself has offered us even more. In an interview with IGN the prolific author said, ““If viewers who are familiar with my work look very closely, they might see Cujo. Keep an eye out for Cujo in New York City.” Challenge accepted.

Adapted from the acclaimed story by Stephen King, The Dark Tower follows Roland and Tom as they search for the Dark Tower in the hope of saving the dying world. Apparently, the story is not quite a literal adaptation and will be a culmination of stories, focusing on the end of Deschain’s journey.

King is no stranger to telling fans how awesome the adaptations of his novels are going to be, but he has seen the finished film and called it “terrific”. Shall we start getting our hopes up? The Dark Tower will be released on 28th July 2017 and stars Idris Elba, Tom Taylor and Matthew McConaughey.
