Still/Born was one of my favourite films from last year’s FrightFest, so I’m excited that the film is hopefully soon to be released for audiences to see. A new trailer has been unleashed and it shows a clash between supernatural and maternal fears. It’s an effective tease of the film’s events, showing Mary’s (Christie Burke) descent into madness as she worries for the life of her child.
Synopsis:
Mary, a new mother gives birth to two twins, but only one of them is alive. While taking care of her remaining child, Adam, she suspects that something, a supernatural entity, has chosen her child and will stop at nothing to take it from her.
Still/Born is the feature film debut of director Brandon Christensen and has a script written by himself and Colin Minihan, the director of Extraterrestrial and It Stains the Sands Red. The cast further includes Jesse Moss, Rebecca Olson, Sean Rogerson and Michael Ironside.
Still/Born is out now in the USA.
