Back when we were first introduced to Sadako Yamamura, the sadistic, straggly-haired spirit’s only means of working her nensha powers on us was though those archaic VCR units and cathode ray tube tellies. We’ve come a considerably long way since then, and if the trailers are anything to go by, Sadako’s U.S. alter-ego, Samara, has got all kinds of tech savvy for the impending sequel, Rings, seemingly having figured out how to worm her way into every iDevice on the planet.
To celebrate this Friday’s release (February 3), Paramount have prepared quite the cutting edge creepfest for us in the form of an all-immersive 360º VR date with Samara Morgan. Long gone are her days of crawling into our world as it’s time for us to step into hers. So, pop on your VR glasses and go wish her well in the latest promotional video for the film below…

Synopsis:
