Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead is easily one of the best zombie movies of the decade. Its combination of Mad Max-style energy and pure zombie terror created an explosive, exciting and wonderfully gory thrill-ride that burst with comedy and horror in equal measure.
A sequel television series is currently being planned for Wyrmwood, tentatively titled Wyrmwood TV, and the film’s Facebook page teased an image that shows the return of Bianca Bradey’s zombie-controlling Brooke and her brother Barry, played by Jay Gallagher. The pair are seen in their epic anti-zombie riot gear, promising more undead combat on the road of the dead.
When can we see Wyrmwood TV? A response from the film’s Facebook page says: “As soon as we can finish writing it and some legend gives us the cash to go make it – we’ll send it straight out tooya! :)”. So, who wants to be the legend that helps make it happen?
