In the film, Elisabeth Moss plays Cecilia Kass, a woman trapped in an abusive relationship with a brilliant but controlling scientist (Oliver Jackson-Cohen). After her sister (Harriet Dyer), childhood friend (Aldis Hodge), and his teenage daughter (Storm Reid) help her escape and go into hiding, Cecilia’s ex seemingly commits suicide, leaving her millions of dollars. But Cecilia suspects he isn’t really dead—and that he’s intent on ruining her life and driving her out of her mind…
