Saber Interactive have such sights to show you…
In one of the most unexpected announcements of the year, Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games have announced they’re taking the Hellraiser series into the video game realm.
Entitled Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, the game has been in development for some time, with the full co-operation and support of franchise creator Barker.
What’s even more exciting is that legendary Pinhead actor Doug Bradley will return as the iconic villain. In lending his voice to Revival, Bradley returns to the franchise for the first time in twenty years.
Using Unreal Engine 5, Saber Interactive present a single-player survival game coming to PC, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5.
In the first official video game release for Hellraiser, you play as Aidan. After he is gifted a mysterious puzzle box by an order known as The Genisis Configuration, his girlfriend is pulled into the depths of hell.
Determined to save her soul, Aidan must traverse the horrors of the dimension, using new powers he collects along the way. Can Aidan save his girlfriend and escape the clutches of Pinhead? Or will he fail and face unimaginable torment?
The game will be available to order in several packages, each featuring exclusive items and collectible merchandise.
Hellraiser is the second announced horror IP release from Saber and Bad Ass Games. Last year, they announced work had begun on Halloween: The Game, however, work appears to be much further along on Hellraiser.
Although no release date has been announced, we will keep a close eye for any further developments.
