“CHUCKY” REVEALS SEASON 3 PREMIERE DATE IN FUN TEASER TRAILER

Posted on: August 29th, 2023

SyFy and USA have confirmed that Chucky will premiere its third season on October 4th 2023 in a new and hilarious announcement trailer.

Taking to the podium in a parody of political press conferences, Chucky appears to cuss out the waiting reporters and the viewing audience alike. When asked what the third season has in store, the killer doll responds cryptically with “all I’ll say is D.C. is about to get “chucked up.”

This seems to point towards the show switching location once more and heading to Washington. Is this teaser trying to tell us that Chucky will infiltrate the world of politics?

Furthermore, the tiny titan confirms Jennifer Tilly will once again return as Tiffany, stating that “she always comes back.” Interestingly, Chucky remains coy about whether Devon Sawa will appear, quickly dismissing the question. Viewers are no doubt familiar with Sawa’s inclusion in the show as multiple characters over the past two seasons, enabling him to return in a new role, despite getting killed off… Have they found somewhere else to fit him in?

Lastly, Chucky announces that the series will now be available to stream on Peacock the next day, as well as airing on both the SyFy and USA networks. Mr. Lee Ray informs us he’s “too big” for just one channel.

Very exciting announcements indeed, and the teaser has acted as the perfect thing to assure fans, many of whom despaired when the series was forced to halt production. One of many projects affected by the SAG-AFTRA strike, it appears Chucky got all they needed from their actors before the shutdown, enabling the project to meet its date… Phew.

As stated, Season 3 will premiere October 4th, and you can check out Chucky’s foul-mouthed announcement below:
