All three episodes of Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat’s Dracula are now available to watch on Netflix and BBC iPlayer. And while the show itself could have used a blood transfusion to pump a little life into it, the BBC’s recent marketing efforts are fiendishly good.
By day, billboards erected in London and Birmingham seem to have been impaled by a random clustering of wooden stakes, some dripping blood. But after darkness falls, those stakes cast a chilling shadow of the blood-sucking Count.
The best part? Beneath the billboard, you’ll find a stake enclosed inside a case reading: “In case of vampires, break glass.” Brilliant.
