Just as we speculated, the release date change has caused promo for Evil Dead Burn to kick into high-gear with the release of the first teaser!
Our first look at the movie is more of an extended sequence than a traditional trailer.
In the clip, we’re taken inside a suburban home on a stormy night. There, we meet an unnamed character who is blood-soaked and in distress.
As she attempts to drag herself along the floor, behind her chaos erupts as a male appears to be aggressively assaulting other characters.
People are flung around the room, furniture is destroyed, and a series of supernatural booms and explosions shake the house.
Eventually reaching perceived safety behind a staircase, the unknown woman is then dragged away as the screen cuts to black.
An evocative teaser, the clip certainly sets up Evil Dead Burn well, with fans already eager for more.
Having already played in theatres, the online release of the teaser seems to be to draw more attention to the new release date we previously reported.
However, in case you missed that, Evil Dead Burn is now set to hit screens on July 10th of this year, twelve days earlier than originally announced.
As stated, a lot more promotional material is expected to drop soon, including the movie’s first full trailer, so we’ll be on the lookout for it!
But, for now, you can check out the intriguing first teaser below:
