Announced in October, Mike Flanagan (The Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass) is reteaming with Netflix for The Fall of the House of Usher, a new series based on multiple works by Edgar Allan Poe—and the full cast has been revealed!
The ensemble cast includes Frank Langella (Dracula), Carla Gugino (Gerald’s Game), Mary McDonnell (Scream 4), Carl Lumbly (Doctor Sleep), Mark Hamill (Star Wars), Henry Thomas (The Haunting of Hill House), T’Nia Miller (The Haunting of Bly Manor), Kyliegh Curran (Doctor Sleep), Samantha Sloyan (Hush), Rahul Kohli (iZombie), Kate Siegel (The Haunting of Hill House), Sauriyan Sapkota (The Midnight Club), Zach Gilford (The Purge: Anarchy), Michael Trucco (Midnight Mass), Paola Núñez (The Purge), Katie Parker (Absentia), Malcolm Goodwin (iZombie), Crystal Balint (Shut In), Aya Furukawa (The Terror), Daniel Jun (American Gods), Matt Biedel (Midnight Mass), Ruth Codd (The Midnight Club), Igby Rigney (Midnight Mass), Annabeth Gish (Before I Wake), and Robert Longstreet (Halloween Kills). The list includes many frequent Flanagan collaborators and we can’t wait to see them sink their teeth into this material!
The Fall of the House of Usher will have eight episodes, with Flanagan and Michael Fimognari directing four apiece. Fimognari has previously served as cinematographer on multiple Flanagan projects, from Oculus to Gerald’s Game to Midnight Mass.
