A new video has been released to promote the arrival of Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi drama Arrival and it shows what happens when two strangers are put in a room and asked to find their common ground. The catch is that the strangers speak different languages, so they have to find different ways to communicate.
It’s a sweet little video that shows the power of language, but it also asks us to remember that language should not be a barrier. We should strive to celebrate our differences and similarities in equal measure.
