Cameron Monaghan has been cast in the film adaptation of The White Devil, which will be based on the novel written by Justin Evans published in 2011. Monaghan has had roles in Vampire Academy, Gotham and is set to feature in 2017’s Amityville: The Awakening.
The White Devil is a supernatural thriller that follows an American boy with a shady past who hopes to put it all behind him when he joins an esteemed British school. However, he is drawn into trouble once again when a ghostly entity forms an attachment to him.
The White Devil will be directed by Jahmil Qubeka, who also adapted the story with Julian Paul Stein. The film is set to begin shooting in South Africa in 2017.
