I haven’t seen The Bye Bye Man, but the reviews for the supernatural slasher were less than great. We rated the film 2.5/5 and praised its compelling storyline and the Bye Bye Man himself, who is pretty terrifying. Nonetheless, the tepid performances and contrived set-pieces let it down. Check out the full review here.
Synopsis:
When three college friends stumble upon the horrific origins of the Bye Bye Man, they discover that there is only one way to avoid his curse: don’t think it, don’t say it. But once the Bye Bye Man gets inside your head, he takes control, making you see and do the most unspeakable acts committed by man. Is there a way to survive his possession?
If you haven’t seen The Bye Bye Man yet, then you may get the perfect opportunity to see it at its best and boldest. The Blu-ray and DVD version will feature the unrated cut with shocking, never-before-seen footage, and so if anything; it’ll be a bit gorier and hopefully scarier than the edition shown in cinemas.
The Bye Bye Man will be released on Digital HD on 11th April and on Blu-ray/DVD and VOD on 25th April.
