They Listen, originally set for release on August 25th 2023 via Sony Pictures and Blumhouse Productions has been delayed a year, it has been confirmed.
The movie, directed by American Pie’s Chris Weitz, has been shrouded in secrecy since its announcement, with no plot details being made public.
All we know for certain is the film is in the can and will be headlined by actor’s Keith Carradine, John Cho, and Alien: Covenant star Katherine Waterstone. Additional cast members include Greg Hill, Wyatt Lindner, and Havana Rose Liu.
In keeping with the secrecy surrounding the project, no official reason was given for such an extensive delay, leading to speculation that film the will undergo extensive reshoots or some major post-production change.
We will keep a look out for any further developments on this mysterious project, but as of now, They Listen is set to be released on August 30th 2024.
