Ah, we’ve been waiting for this. Home release details have been announced for Andrés Muschietti’s It, which is only now leaving cinemas, having been released to rapturous box office more than two months ago.
The film will be available on digital from December 19th, with a Blu-ray combo pack, 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray combo pack and DVD following on January 9th. The discs will include 11 deleted scenes as extras, and feature the theatrical cut of the film, with no sign of that promised director’s cut as yet.
Here’s the full list of special features:
• Pennywise Lives! – Discover how Bill Skarsgård prepared to portray the primordial creature known as Pennywise the Dancing Clown
• The Losers’ Club – Get up close and personal with the teenage stars of “IT” as they bond together during the production,
• Author of Fear – Stephen King reveals the roots of his best-selling novel, the nature of childhood fear and how he created his most famous monster, Pennywise
• Deleted Scenes – Eleven deleted or extended scenes from the film
UK release dates are yet to be confirmed, but shouldn’t be too far different. Now, how many viewings will you get in before the second film emerges on September 6th, 2019?
