We still can’t get our heads around the idea of a Sadako vs. Kayako film, but it’s definitely happening. If you think the concept is strange on its own, then you ain’t seen nothin’ yet. Check out the bizarre promo video below, which shows the pair gearing up for their battle. Or, at least, that’s what we think is going on.
If you haven’t already, you can also watch the trailer for the film below. It features the iconic moment were Sadako crawls out the TV and it’s not less terrifying than the first time it happened back in 1998. While this is going on, Kayako also makes her way down the stairs in the same body-bending fashion as always. We feel sorry for the couple of girls who find themselves caught in the crossfire.
Kōji Shiraishi (Grotesque) is directing Sadako vs. Kayako, which will be released on the 18th June in Japan, hopefully it will hit the UK and USA soon after. Whose side will you take?
