BARBARA CRAMPTON JOINS THE WORLD OF “TEXAS CHAIN SAW MASSACRE”

Posted on: March 5th, 2024

She’s been the object of a severed head’s desire, she’s battled killer robots, and she’s fallen victim to a terrifying home invasion. However, now Scream Queen Barbara Crampton takes on a franchise baddie for the first time.

Gun Media have been promising new content for Texas Chain Saw Massacre: The Game for a few weeks now. In their initial announcement, the developers promised a new map, a new family member, and a new survivor.

Now, it seems we have our first confirmation on at least one of the latter two. It is currently unknown if Crampton’s likeness will be used for good or evil… But we’re excited to find out!

Taking to her social media, Crampton announced her involvement stating:
“I am here to tell you that I’m in the DLC for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre game!”

Alongside this, the actress posted a first-look at her likeness in the game.

Of course, this is another string to Crampton’s impressive horror bow. Recently she headlined the indie feature Teacher’s Pet, as well as starring alongside Judah Lewis and Heather Graham in the body-horror Suitable Flesh.

Texas Chain Saw Massacre: The Game continues to reign as a hugely popular survival-horror adaption of the classic series. Most recently a DLC pack was released featuring new character skins and gruesome new execution methods.

Although no date has been given for Crampton’s arrival in the game, fans have greeted her cameo with fanfare. May this Scream Queen continue her impressively long and varied reign!
