Backstreet Boys and N*Sync to Collaborate on a Zombie Western

Posted on: July 21st, 2015

This is probably the strangest and most surreal news of the day, but it is being reported that 90’s pop bands Backstreet Boys and N*Sync are planning to collaborate on a futuristic zombie western, called Dead 7. Whether this title will change, we will see, but I reckon they are going to need something a bit more aggressive and in your-face if they want their film to stand-out.

The production company The Asylum – you may recognise their name from Syfy horror flicks like Sharknado – are planning to produce the film, which I think, gives you an idea of the type of tone we should be expecting. A bit tongue-in-cheek and heavy on the comedy. Nonetheless, Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter is apparently a huge horror fan, but whether that means he is able to make one, is another point altogether.

Keep your eyes peeled for more news on this one, I’m intrigued and a bit scared.
