sh is back and ready to take on the evil deadites once again in the trailer for the upcoming TV series Ash Vs Evil Dead, which is set to take place 30 years after the events of the first film. It seems like an impossible task, but after seeing some great images from the show, and now this equally great trailer, it appears that Ash Vs Evil is going to be rather brilliant.
Looking to mirror the comedic tone of Evil Dead 2, rather than the full-blown scare-fest which was Evil Dead, the trailer has enough laughs, gore, blood and Bruce Campbell to please even the most cynical fans. All doubts should be pushed aside, because this looks like it’s going to be brilliant. The effects look top-notch and the balance between horror and comedy looks perfect. If you’ve missed Ash and his trustee boomstick and chainsaw, then prepare to welcome them back in to your life in groovy fashion.
Ash Vs Evil Dead will premiere on October 31st 2015, with a Sam Raimi-directed first episode.
