Mulder and Scully fans rejoiced when it was announced that the X-Files would be returning after over a decade’s absence. David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are returning to reprise their roles as the lead characters, as well as writers James Wong and Glen Morgan. The show’s creator Chris Carter will be an executive producer, with the show due to begin shooting in August.
