Antisocial 2: Michelle Mylett Talks Her Return to the Franchise

Posted on: July 24th, 2015

A few days back we shared with you the first official trailer for the upcoming sequel to 2013’s sci-fi shocker Antisocial and we loved what it had to offer so much that we just couldn’t resist hopping onto Skype to speak with the film’s starlet Michelle Mylett.

Returning to helm Antisocial 2 is Cody Calahan, who also co-wrote the script with Black Fawn cohorts Chad Archibald (Bite, The Drownsman) and Jeff Maher (the film’s DP). The film is set a few years after the events in the original movie with Sam (Mylett) roaming a user-infested world in search of her newborn child that was stolen from her. Whilst evading hordes of users she befriends a young girl named Bean but it’s not long before Sam is captured and tortured in a facility run by an unconventional team of medical experts intent on finding a cure for the Redroom Virus. With a lethal Redroom site update on the verge of installing itself Sam strives to escape the facility before the imminent final phase of attack. Mylett stars alongside Stephen Bogaert (The Valley Below), Josette Halpert, and Samuel Faraci (Hannibal, Hemlock Grove).

SCREAM’s Howard Gorman caught up with Michelle to talk all about the film as the Fantasia Film Festival world premiere draws exceedingly close (July 30th). Below you can enjoy highlights of a more extensive interview we conducted which we can’t wait to share with you very soon. Keep watching this space for updates…
