More exciting casting news out of Don Mancini’s upcoming Chucky TV series! Alex Vincent will reprise the role of Andy Barclay, which he played in the first two films, with Christine Elise returning as Kyle, Andy’s foster sister, first seen in Child’s Play 2.
Both actors were most recently seen in 2017’s Cult of Chucky, where they teamed up once more to fight the evil doll. They join previously announced returning cast members Brad and Fiona Dourif and Jennifer Tilly. The series’ cast also includes Devon Sawa (Final Destination).
Described as a “fresh take on the franchise,” Chucky is set in an idyllic American town. After a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, the town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose its hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies—and allies—from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.
Chucky is slated to slash onto Syfy and USA this autumn. Nick Antosca (Channel Zero) serves as an executive producer.
