If you haven’t been following the Amityville films lately (and really, who could blame you?), you might be surprised to learn that the next movie to namedrop the infamous house will take place in space. But this is par for the course at this point considering we’ve had unofficial entries in the “franchise” featuring everything from sharks to acid rain zombies to an evil vibrator.
Called Amityville in Space, this new film from Wild Eye Releasing promises “the ultimate battle against the Amityville curse begins after the infamous murder house is exorcised from Earth and reappears in outer space.” Titus Himmelberger, Cassandra Hayes, Tim Hatch, Ryan Dalton, and Jeff Kirkendall star in the film, which was directed by Mark Polonia.
Amityville in Space arrives in a galaxy near you this July. Check out the wild trailer below.
