It seems like no horror franchise is immune to ‘80s fever right now, and American Horror Story is no exception. American Horror Story: 1984 will be the title of the show’s ninth season, which is set to premiere on FX this autumn.
Ryan Murphy, the show’s creator, unveiled the title in a short teaser video on Instagram. And by the looks of things, this season is inspired by the slasher movies we all know and love from the decade.
American Horror Story: 1984 will be the first season of the popular horror series not to feature Evan Peters. We do know that Emma Roberts will be returning, however. Olympic medalist Gus Kenworthy will also star.
