We have our first glimpse of American Horror Story: Delicate with a series of character posters, what’s more, we have a premiere date for the first half of the series.
In three eye-catching posters, we glimpse stars Cara Delevingne, Emma Roberts, and Kim Kardashian in character. Delevingne smirks into the camera whilst holding an alarmingly large needle, Roberts and Kardashian cradle their pregnant stomachs whilst caressing a large spider around their midriffs.
Whilst briefing audiences on what to expect in the upcoming series, FX had the following to say in a statement during production:
“The season is titled Delicate and is based, at least in part, on Danielle Valentine’s upcoming novel Delicate Condition. Out in August from Sourcebooks Landmark, the novel is described as a gripping thriller about a woman who becomes convinced that a sinister figure is going to great lengths to make sure her pregnancy never happens.”
Curiosity is high for the upcoming season, primarily due to the inclusion of Kardashian in a prominent role. Although a reality star in the centre of the public eye for the better part of two decades, Kardashian has little acting experience. Audiences are eager to see how she’ll handle such a high-profile project, and they’ll soon have their answer.
American Horror Story: Delicate will premiere the first half of the season on September 23rd 2023 on FX, with each episode available to stream on Hulu the following day.
