AMC are already known for bringing horror to the small screen with The Walking Dead, and now they are set to adapt Joe Hill’s supernatural novel series NOS4A2 (pronounced Nosferatu). AMC are currently searching for a writer to bring the story to life, so the development is only in its early stages at the moment.
The story from the writer of Horns, Heart Shaped Box and the comic book series Locke and Key spans several decades and follows Victoria McQueen who has a great ability to find things, but loses her son. On her search for the truth she is lead to Charles Manx; a child abductor who has been alive for over a century. Victoria soon finds herself tangled in a dark world below America as she tries to find her missing child.
The book is over 700 pages, so there is plenty of room for it to be a TV series. We will keep you posted on the news from AMC as it comes.
