Amanda Seyfried (Jennifer’s Body) is in talks to star in a new supernatural horror movie for Netflix. The film, called Things Heard & Seen, is an adaptation of the novel All Things Cease to Appear by Elizabeth Brundage.
The plot centres around a young couple who move to a farm in upstate New York. Unfortunately, the house’s former owners were murdered and the property is cursed. But those aren’t the only dark secrets going around—the couple’s marriage might have a few of its own…
Seyfried will play the wife, who is struggling to adjust to small-town life when she starts believing her house is haunted. Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini, the filmmaking duo behind American Splendor, wrote the script and will also direct.
