Alejandro Brugués (Juan of the Dead, Into the Dark: Pooka Lives!) is directing a new horror movie called The Last Will and Testament of Charles Abernathy for Netflix.
The film will follow the titular Charles Abernathy, an ageing billionaire. On the eve of his 75th birthday, Abernathy invites his four estranged children home out of fear that someone—or something—is coming to kill him that very night.
To ensure they’ll help protect him from whatever is coming, Abernathy puts each of their inheritances on the line. If he’s found dead by dawn, they get nothing.
Chris LaMont and Joe Russo wrote the script for The Last Will and Testament of Charles Abernathy. Dan Clarke will executive produce the film, with Paul Schiff producing.
