She told us she was a “f**king star,” and now we’re going to find out what happened to Maxine (Mia Goth) after she escaped the farmhouse in Texas in X. That’s right, after giving us a double dose of Ti West this year with X and Pearl, A24 has greenlit a third film in the franchise, titled MaXXXine!
According to Deadline, “Mia Goth will be back and reprising one of the two roles she played in X. It follows Maxine (Goth), after the events of X, as the sole survivor who continues her journey towards fame setting out to make it as an actress in 1980s Los Angeles.”
Deadline also notes that MaXXXine has yet to be shot but is getting fast-tracked. West wrote the script and will direct.
